Please note that proctors no longer need to create individual test sessions, and by default, there is one test code for all sessions during the administration.
- Log in to the Client Portal using your email and password.
- Select "Go" under Platform and redirect.
- In the left navigation bar, select Test Management > Administrations.
- Click on the three vertical dots to the right of Proctor Groups, then select “View”.
-
Select the play button
on the far right of the proctor group. This should open a new tab. This is the Proctor Dashboard. From here, you will be able to monitor the progress of all testing students. Please remember to turn on auto refresh by selecting the toggle.
- You may be asked to input your proctor name if it is your first time accessing the proctor dashboard. Please input a name - it is not essential that this is accurate, as no data gets associated with this.
- Direct students to open the assessment: instruct students to launch the lockdown browser, "ADAM". This is likely on their desktop. If the lockdown browser is not already downloaded, see Lockdown Browser Installation.
- Distribute the test code (upper right corner of the proctor dashboard) to all students.
- Provide all students their identifier, which could be a student ID or alternate ID system, which is required to access the assessment. Note that this is caps sensitive.
- Students begin testing. Sessions can be paused at any time; however, must be completed within 7 days of starting.
- When the test is done, students may exit the assessment.
If students run into issues, there are several options for proctors to use as outlined below. Note that proctors are also able to search for a specific student, sort by progress, and see where a student is in the assessment by section.
- Section 1 = Tutorial for Performance Task
- Section 2 = Performance Task
- Section 3 = Tutorial for Selected Response Questions
- Section 4 = Selected Response Questions
- Section 5 = Student Survey
Click on the three-dot menu to the right of the student's name for the individual action bar.
View Session Details: Allows you to see a student's activity history.
Pause: Students' work is auto-saved, their timer is paused, and they are shown a grey screen that does not allow them to keep working. Students can pause themselves or proctors can pause them, and students can also resume themselves or proctors can resume them.
Resume: Resumes students' timer and allows them to continue testing.
